With gaze on the ground
Loiters and lingers
Like a hungry hound
The huge potly dark man
Goes on a lengthy tour
Searching for shoes
In hostel’s every floor
Never any time to spare
His only motto
Was to polish and repair
With every shoe shined
Our cobbler whined
